Quick & Easy Mini Pizza Buns!

mini pizza bun

Today was another day that I had to rush dinner after work.  I opened the fridge and started thinking what can I make that can be quick and family friendly?

I started pulling leftover ingredients from not so replenished fridge…  I had a 1/2 bottle of Giada Basil tomato sauce and did not want it to go to waste.  If you don’t have time to prep for sauce, I am really in love with her sauces that are available  in Target.

The final result was great and the entire family loved it!

I made 2 different types of mini pizza buns:

1. Genoa Salami & Gouda Mini Pizza Bun

2. Tomato & Feta Mini Pizza Bun

Here is what you need to get started:

What a creative idea! I have seen these buns for decades and never thought of using them as a base for pizza! Love the toppings as well and they look just so stylish.
I will be thinking of you when I come back to Beirut and explore Bourj Hammood, the Armenian neighborhood that I have always been intrigued about. I just love Armenian food and culture. XX, Joumana

I didn’t know Giada is selling that, and make a quick but delicious bite, I’m all for that. Looks very cute the little buns. And Gouda and Salami is a good combo. Have a great week Adelina.
